I definitely think Titanfall will have longer legs than inFamous. But things to note are that these figures include sales of the 360 version. Microsoft & EA did not give out sales figures of the Xbone edition in the UK.
It shows that there has been a real demand for the Titanfall game, but there has not been so much of a demand for Titanfall on the Xbone console. If EA had released on other platforms they would have made a killing, but they didn't because of the exclusivity deal which makes you wonder just how much Microsoft compensated them.
The 360 is 8 years older than the Xbone so obviously one version will look better (although not mindblowingly better). But having played a little bit of each I would say they play the same.
792p and no single player campaign is part of the reason that some XB one owners felt it had less vfm then Call of Duty Ghosts.
No need to call Titanfall silly as it is a good game. However the XBOne has a smaller install base. And the game that Microsoft promoted as their great exclusive doesn't have a single player mode and is 792p. This doesn't make it bad but it just means that it won't be super appealing to all gamers.
Sounds like his praise of Spencer is actually an indirect criticism of robotic Microsoft staff! When you consider Major Nelson, Penello and Greenberg you can see his point of view.

This is a very surprising discount because the discount is so high and reflects that in the UK retailers have had trouble moving Xb one units. If you want an Xbone and Titanfall its a good time to buy. But the discount IS direct from Microsoft who have sold some units at a loss to individual retailers to stimulate the market without appearing like they have had to make a second major discount in one month.
I'm sure it will make for a good documentary but what do they want with the cartridges?

Well said Neonridr. EA and Microsoft strongly marketed it as a must have game. If it was only available on the new Xbox then many more gamers would have bought a Xbone to play it on. However knowing that it is also coming to 360 has meant that potential Xbone buyers have decided to go for the cheaper option of just buying it on 360. Sure it may not be quite as pretty but it is a much cheaper way to experience the same game.

My personal preference is that when I read Xbox news on N4G it's not about TV programmes. When I read Xbox news I'd prefer it is about games.

Anyway, yes I know Sony own Columbia and are a major TV and movie content producer! But I like that over the past year Sony have said it is primarily a games console. Here in the UK McDs is promoting the Xbone in a TV advert and they call it an 'all in one entertainment device!'

France is an important EU territory, it's also a country where the Xbone is under performing. It seems like some amateurs in the promotions team asked "how do we improve sales in France? Well the French love football." And they came up with the idea of making a football themed Xbox. Special edition consoles can work if using a game theme, but this just seems... of target.
